The Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe has been launched in India at a price of ₹ 2.55 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model will come to India as a completely built unit (CBU) and will be sold in limited numbers. The company also offering a maintenance package, called as “Star Ease Package” for ₹ 2.28 lakh per year.

On the design front, the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe features “Panamericana” radiator grille design, while the front bumper looks sportier and the V-shaped cooling air intake harmoniously follows the lines of the headlamps and is subdivided by chromed, vertical struts. The front apron resembles a hovering jet wing and the three-dimensional front splitter with its aerodynamically shaped high-sheen chrome edge reduces uplift at the front axle. Adding to its aggressive appeal, the side features large 20-inch forged lightweight alloy wheels as standard. The rear end of the AMG S 63 Coupe features quad-exhausts, an updated rear apron with diffuser insert and the redesigned, model-specific twin tailpipes of the AMG exhaust system.

The styling of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe has updated which means it looks sharper and more attractive now. It features 12.3-inch widescreen TFT driver display which displays data such as lateral and longitudinal acceleration, engine output and torque, boost pressure, tyre temperature and more. The AMG S 63 Coupe features sleek all-LED lighting, Nappa leather upholstery, ventilated seats, a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with 12 o’clock marking, the dashboard, the beltline, the center door panels, the armrests, the center console front and rear and the floor mats.

The Mercedes-AMG S63 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out 612PS of peak power and produces a peak torque of 900Nm. The engine is paired with AMG Speedshift 9-speed automatic gearbox, and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.5 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 250kmph.
