On 14th April, Datsun has unveiled the redi-GO car in India and now today, the company has announced that they will start accepting pre-bookings starting from May 1st, 2016 at a down payment of Rs. 5,000. The deliveries of Datsun redi-GO will commence from June 2016. The vehicle is priced between Rs. 2.5-lakh to Rs. 3.5-lakh (ex-showroom Delhi price) and the pricing of variants are to be announced during the launch in June 2016.

The customers can pre-book the Datsun redi-GO at Nissan dealerships across India with a fully refundable down payment of Rs. 5,000. For your information, the company has 217 outlets in 165 cities and the company plans to establish 300 sales & services outlets by the end of March 2017. In addition to this, the Datsun redi-GO can be booked online through Snapdeal eCommerce portal. Starting from May 10, Snapdeal also begin accepting inquires along with which, customers can enter in a contest and stand a chance to win prizes.
The Datsun redi-Go is a fusion of compact crossover and hatchback. It is designed, developed & manufactured locally. The Datsun redi-GO is based on the CMF-A platform, the same platform that underpins the popular Renault Kwid. The Datsun redi-GO will be cheaper when compared to Renault Kwid and it will target young first-time buyers in the country.. The Datsun redi-Go urban-crossover aims to combine the style, space, high seating position and ground clearance (185mm) of a crossover with high fuel economy & driving dynamics normally associated with a hatchback. Not only the chassis, the redi-GO shares its engine too with the Renault Kwid. Under the bonnet lies the same 800cc, three-cylinder fuel-efficient petrol engine which is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
