Maruti Suzuki India has launched the new sporty version of the Ciaz at a price tag of Rs. 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol engine while it cost Rs. 11.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel engine. The Ciaz S trim replaces the RS variant that was removed from the lineup and the new S trim cost Rs. 10,000 more than the corresponding Alpha grades.
The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S comes with a bunch of cosmetic updates like the new sporty body kit, premium interior, large trunk-lid spoiler, rear bumper with sculpted lines, and a new front & side under spoilers. For your information, the body colour options remain the same with no new colour options.
The new Ciaz S is based on the Alpha trim and it gets all the features. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S comes with features like touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control and much more. Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S comes with stylish all-black interiors with leather seats and chrome accents for the cabin.
The new Ciaz S is powered by 91 bhp 1.4-litre 90PS petrol engine and 1.3-litre 93PS diesel engine with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle from Suzuki) system. The petrol version paired with 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic, while the diesel version paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S comes with safety features like dual airbags, seat belt pre-tensioner with a force limiter, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX (child seat system).
