[Auto Expo 2016] Transformation Through Motion, Philosophy Of Maruti Suzuki India

At Auto Expo 2016, Maruti Suzuki India has the philosophy of Transformation through Motion. As the technology evolves and consumers constantly looking for better, so as the Maruti Suzuki gearing up for the future – Maruti Suzuki 2.0. With Maruti Suzuki 2.0, Maruti Suzuki India evolve, innovate and transform itself.

At Auto Expo 2016, Maruti Suzuki India unveiled new products, technologies & innovations and shared the direction of future. The core of unveiled products is vehicle platform which was showcased in a new innovative platform. It is lighter but stronger than conventional platforms which enable Maruti Suzuki Vehicles to balance safety, fuel efficiency & driving performance at the higher level.

At Auto Expo 2016, Maruti Suzuki India unveiled the Concept Ignis for India. Earlier the car ws launched in Japan last month and it will be customised according to the needs of Indian consumers. According to Maruti Suzuki, it will be a smart urban vehicle for the fast maturing compact car customers of India. In addition to this, Maruti Suzuki also unveiled the Maruti Concept Baleno RS. According to company, it received a resounding welcome in India. The Maruti Baleno RS demonstrate how it is possible to lead even more excitement & performance on India’s world car.

The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the first Indian car manufacturer which uses Apple CarPlay as its entertainment, communication and navigation system of choice. As an iOS device user, it delivers a seamless experience while driving and Apple CarPlay extends iPhone’s interface to the car’s multimedia screen which enables easier access to features like the phone’s call list, music library and Apple’s voice assistant Siri. The CarPlay system utilizes all three forms of car-driver interface: voice-based instructions via a dedicated steering-mounted button, touchscreen access to the various features, and specific buttons in the car that enable direct access to key Apple CarPlay’s features.

With Siri’s voice-based access, the driver can use the voice commands to make calls, review & return missed calls and listen to voicemails. On the music front, the driver can access the music stores in iPhone’s and controls the playback via the interface. Apart from this, the system is also able to run other music playback apps that are installed on the iPhone, replicating them to the car’s touchscreen. The system also supports audio apps such as podcasts and audiobooks, enabling the car’s occupants to access a wider range of audio content. The Apple CarPlay also work with other smartphone platforms like Android & Windows, although it doesn’t have iOS-specific functionality.

Later this year specifically during festive season, the production models of concept Inis & Baleno RS will be launched. Both these models will be a part of Maruti Suzuki’s new sales channel, Nexa. Through Nexa, the company plans to set out appeal to a new generation of customers, who value pampering, innovation & a personal touch in their car buying experience.

The company’s also launched the Nexa accesses and services for “My Nexa” privilege card holders – Valet Parking & Nexa Concierge. At Auto Expo 2016, My Nexa mobile application also introduced which gives an exclusive automative experience to the niche set of customers. With Nexa, Maruti Suzuki ensure that you have a relationship for a lifetime, hospitality which pampers you & technology. My Nexa application available on Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Windows Phone Store.
