Jaguar Land Rover has announced the 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine in the 2018 models of the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque SUVs. The 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine available on the 2018 Discovery Sport will be offered in the SE & HSE trims and the price starts from ₹ 49.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the Range Rover Evoque Ingenium petrol available in SE & HSE Dynamic trims and the price starts from ₹ 51.06 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Jaguar Land Rover 2.0-litre Ingenium Petrol uses a low friction aluminum-intensive design and the company claim’s that it delivers improved fuel efficiency, lower running costs, and enhanced performance. In the Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque, the engine produces a maximum power fo 250PS and churns out a peak torque of 365Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
The 2018 Discovery Sport Ingenium petrol comes with features like leather steering, Wi-Fi Hotspot (with 4G access to up to eight devices) auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, along with front and rear parking aid. The 2018 Discovery Sport HSE trim gets additional features like keyless entry, powered gesture boot lid, and three-zone climate control as standard.
The 2018 Range Rover Evoque Ingenium petrol comes with features like Wi-Fi Hotspot with 4G access, up to eight devices and InControl-Pro Services. Some of the advanced features are Route Planner App, Commute Mode and Sharing ETA (expected time of arrival). The Range Rover Evoque HSE variant gets additional features like keyless entry, gesture control boot lid, premium leather interiors and configurable ambient interior lighting to name a few.
For your information, the 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine is already available on the Range Rover Velar and recently launched Evoque Convertible.
