Visually, the Hero Destini 125 resembles the 110cc Hero Duet, but it gets few cosmetci upgrades and the company has added some premium elements. Originally, the Destini 125 was first showcased as the Hero Duet 125 concept at the Auto Expo 2018 in February this year and later on it changes to Destini by retaining all the features. The overall design is simple, with flowy lines.

The Hero Desitini 125 comes with large chrome panel on the front apron, smaller chrome accents on the sides, semi-digital cluster, alert indicators for the side stand, service due reminder, as well as an external fuel filter cap to aid convenience. The Destini 125 also comes equipped with a lamp for the underseat storage as well as a remote key. The Hero Destini 125 VX comes with Boot light, mobile charging point, chrome garnishes, cast wheels, dual tone seat covers.

In terms of performance, the Hero Destini 125 is powered by a 125cc air- cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power of 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm and produces a peak torque of 10.2Nm at 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT unit and the suspension responsibilities are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. The blacked-out alloy wheels (top-end only) are shod with Ceat tubeless tyres. Complying with the latest safety norms, the Destini 125 comes with an integrated braking system acting on drum brakes on both ends. Maximizing the fuel efficiency, the Destini 125 is the first Hero scooter that comes with the idle-start-stop system (i35 system).
