Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car manufacturer has introduced ECSTAR, the global brand of lubricants, coolants and car care products for all Maruti Suzuki Arena workshops in India. Additionally, the company has also introduced a new range of engine oil 0W16 for its cars, which claims to reduce friction, improving fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. It will also ensure engine durability being low viscosity oil.
According to the company, the ECSTAR range of oil has gone through stringent tests and ensures a longer life for the Maruti engine.
Previously the ECSTAR range of oils was only available at Maruti’s premium NEXA showrooms. Now, the range of ECSTAR products will be procured from select local suppliers here, and these suppliers will undergo stringent tests to qualify their products to be included under ECSTAR umbrella. The range of ECSTAR products includes engine oils, coolants, injector cleaner, automatic transmission oil, car care products, and screen wash for the cars. Moreover, the ECSTAR products will be available across 22 categories with 60 products, and more products will be added to the ECSTAR range later this year.
The ECSTAR brand was first launched by Suzuki Motor Corporation in 1984 and it was already available in Europe, USA, Mexico, Australia and South East Asia.
