Tata Motors has launched the 2018 Tigor facelift in India at a starting price tag of ₹ 5.20 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi and goes up to ₹ 7.38 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi for the top range diesel. The bookings for the 2018 Tigor facelift comes in six exciting colours – Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey colour and 5 variants – XE, XM, XZ, XZA and XZ+. The booking of the car already opened and you can book one for yourself by visiting the nearest dealer. The 2018 Tata Tigor Facelift comes with a host of cosmetic and features upgrades over the old model. At such a price tag, the 2018 Tata Tigor Facelift will compete with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent. The Tata Motors also announced a new brand ambassador – actor Hrithik Roshan to promote the smallest sedan in Tata’s lineup.

On the inside, the 2018 Tata Tigor facelift gets big changes and it comes with all-new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Harman and the cabin gets a premium dual black and grey colour theme coupled with titanium colour faux leather seats, knitted roof liner and rear armrest with cup holders. The infotainment system comes with video playback, voice command based navigation, music streaming, mirrorlink, Bluetooth connectivity, reverse camera assist, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also comes with new chrome accents around the air vents, fabric inserts on the door trim, steering mounted controls, fast charging port, fully automatic temperature control (FATC) with uniform cooling all around the cabin, a boot space of 419 litres with wide and clear opening using an innovative 4 bar mechanism and 24 intelligent spaces for carrying a lot more on the move.
On the safety side, the 2018 Tata
Under the hood, there is no change in powertrains and the 2018 Tata Tigor facelift comes with same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that churns out maximum power of 84 bhp at 6000 rpm and produces a peak torque of 114Nm at 3500rpm while the 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine churns out maximum power of 69 bhp at 4000 rpm and produces a peak torque of 140 Nm in between 1800-3000 rpm. The petrol and diesel engine are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard while AMT gearbox available only on the petrol version.
